Delivery and Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to private customers and companies, including institutions, purchasing from Interiorshop.

 

1. Purchase

A purchase agreement is considered concluded as soon as you, as the customer, place an order.
We reserve the right to cancel orders due to force majeure or extraordinary circumstances.

 

2. Prices and Contracts

All prices are shown in EUR, inclusive of VAT applicable in the destination country, unless otherwise stated.
All contracts are governed by Danish law and entered into under the laws of Denmark.
The contractual language is English.

 

3. Sales in General

Orders are typically shipped within 1–4 business days, except for items marked as “special order” with longer delivery times (usually 8–12 weeks).
Normal delivery time is 1–3 business days after dispatch.

All small items are shipped via GLS. Please note that GLS does not deliver packages over 20 kg above ground level.
Larger furniture items are delivered either by our own vehicle or via furniture transport, with delivery arranged directly with the customer.

For products made to your specifications or clearly personalized, a 50% prepayment is required before processing the order. Please note that the right of withdrawal and return does not apply to special orders.

 

Delivery Options

Curbside Delivery

Your order will be shipped from our warehouse on Thursday of the confirmed delivery week. Once customer service has confirmed the delivery week, you will receive an email with the shipping date. The courier delivers within a 4-hour time window, and you will receive an SMS the day before delivery with the expected delivery time.

Delivery is made to the curbside. The driver will contact you 30 minutes prior to arrival and will ring the doorbell upon delivery.

If you are not at home, the driver will return the goods, and you will be contacted to arrange a redelivery. Redelivery incurs an additional fee of 5 EUR. Delivery days may change due to public holidays or peak seasons.

 

Address Changes

If you need to change the delivery address or reschedule delivery, please contact Interiorshop customer service as soon as possible.
A fee of 5 EUR applies for changes made after the booking has been confirmed on Wednesday of the delivery week.

4. Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order, please do so via the same method used when placing the order. Alternatively, send an email to kundeservice@interiorshop.dk with the subject "Cancellation" and include the order time and order number.
If you have received an order confirmation by email, you can reply with "Cancellation" in the subject line.

Cancellations must be made no later than 4:00 PM on the same day the order was placed.

 

5. Order Confirmation

Interiorshop retains a copy of the order confirmation once it has been sent to the customer.

 

6. Payment

When you place an order with Interiorshop, we will send you an order confirmation via email as proof of order receipt. You will receive a second email when your order has been shipped.

Accepted payment methods:

We do not charge any card fees.
The payment will only be collected when the goods are shipped.

 

Cancellation and Complaint Rights

1. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal.

The withdrawal period begins on the day you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) physically receives the goods.
If you have ordered multiple items in one order that are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts when you receive the final item.

You must notify us within 30 days of receipt if you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
Notification must be sent to kundeservice@interiorshop.dk or via our withdrawal form. Simply refusing to accept the goods does not constitute a valid withdrawal.

 

Partial Withdrawal

You may return one or more items even if purchased in one order. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable in the case of partial withdrawals.

 

Returns

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal.
You are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping and bear the risk of the goods during transport.

If you use return labels provided by Interiorshop, 13 EUR will be deducted from your refund per return shipment.
For furniture or larger items that cannot be returned via standard shipping, please contact our customer service for a return shipping estimate. Return shipping for such items will not exceed 655 EUR.

Items returned without original packaging may be subject to a reduction in refund due to depreciation. To receive a full refund, please return items in their original, undamaged packaging.

 

No Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured to your specifications or clearly personalized.

 

Condition of Returned Items

You are liable for any depreciation in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the goods.
If the item has been used beyond this, we may consider it used, which could result in a partial or no refund, depending on its resale value.

 

Refunds

If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery option), within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods or you have provided proof of return shipment.

We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery or without proper delivery service.

 

2. Right to Complain

As a consumer, you have a 2-year right to complain. You may have the item repaired, replaced, refunded, or the price reduced, depending on the situation. This applies provided the complaint is justified.

If the product fails unexpectedly during the complaint period and the complaint is valid, it will be repaired free of charge at our or the manufacturer’s workshop.
Damage resulting from misuse, mishandling, modifications, or gross negligence is not covered by the right to complain.
Interiorshop is not liable for indirect consequential damages unless required by Danish law.

Using the Right to Complain

Complaints about faults or defects must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery.
Complaints made within two months of discovering the defect will always be considered timely.

Please inspect your goods upon receipt. In case of visible transport damage (e.g., dents or scratches on the packaging), please report the issue as soon as possible, ideally within 3 business days, including photos and relevant details.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund reasonable return shipping costs. Always return goods in secure packaging and retain a proof of shipment.

 

Proper Return

All products returned to Interiorshop must be properly packaged.
We recommend returning items via GLS as a parcel service for trackability.

Failure to return goods in their original packaging may result in a depreciation of their value.

Returned Items Without Defects

If returned items are found not to have the defect described by the customer, they will be returned to the customer. Interiorshop reserves the right to charge shipping costs via cash on delivery if no credit agreement is in place.
Please include a copy of the invoice and a description of the defect when returning items.

Collection of Personal Data

We collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, and similar identification data. This data is collected to fulfill a contract and is never collected without your consent.

 

Use of Personal Data

We process your personal data to deliver products, handle payments, and manage returns.
Your data will be deleted once it is no longer needed for these purposes and we no longer have a legal basis for retention. Data may be stored in anonymized form for statistical purposes.

We do not share your data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law or in connection with legal disputes.
Name, address, and phone number may be shared with Interiør A/S partners for delivery, service, repairs, or similar services.

 

Access to Your Personal Data

You have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or objection to the processing of your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Service Emails and Notifications

Interiorshop tracks your browsing behavior (e.g., categories, brands, products viewed) to improve our offers.
For example, if you place items in your cart but do not complete your purchase, you may receive a service email reminding you of these items. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email.

If you have consented to web push notifications, you may receive browser-based notifications reminding you of abandoned carts or targeted offers. You can withdraw your consent at any time in your browser settings.
