Description
With Chisel 35, Andreas Bergsaker has worked from a simple idea: letting the character of the wood speak through clean, lightly chamfered forms that give the chair a sculptural feel without making it heavy. The backrest is kept low and discreet, so the stool works just as well lined up side by side as it does on its own by the kitchen island. The design balances craftsmanship and industrial production — a balance that characterises HAY’s collaborations with Nordic designers. Chisel 35 is made for everyday use and is easy to integrate into an existing interior without dominating the space.
