Interiør A/S is an interior and furniture store that offers complete interior design projects for both private and business customers. At Interior A/S, you'll find a wide selection of furniture, lighting, and home accessories of the highest quality from leading suppliers in Denmark and abroad. We only carry top-quality products, so our customers can be confident in the investment they are making.

With more than 30 years of experience in the furniture and interior design industry, we have built an exciting store that is definitely worth a visit. The range shown on this site reflects our physical store, but we don’t showcase our entire selection of furniture and lighting online—so if you can’t find something on the site, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll find a solution. We carry brands such as Fritz Hansen, Montana, Carl Hansen & Søn, Erik Jørgensen, Fredericia Furniture, Vitra, Louis Poulsen, Vipp, Georg Jensen, and more.

Quality Furniture in Kragelund for Three Generations

In February 1965, cabinetmaker Henry and Gudrun Jessen opened Kragelund Møbelforretning, a 250 m² furniture shop. In 1966, the store changed its name to HJ Møbler, shifting to Danish design in light wood types, and in 1970 the store was expanded by 500 m². A few years later, a new warehouse was added, bringing the total area to 1,000 m²—as it remains today.

In October 1994, Henry Jessen chose to sell the store to interior designer MDD Pia Mortensen and furniture dealer Erland Abrahamsen. HJ Møbler was modernized and renamed Interiør A/S. The vision was to create a design store where both private and business customers could receive drawings and thereby get the best assistance with their furniture purchases. The store's products became a mix of modern international furniture, classic Danish furniture, lighting, rugs, and home accessories. Interiør A/S was one of the first in Denmark to create themed furniture exhibitions. The annual event held in October became very popular—and it’s a tradition that continues to this day.

After 20 successful years and a large customer base, Janus Mortensen took over Interior A/S on January 1, 2015. The store was once again renewed, and the selection of home accessories and lifestyle products expanded. The webshop www.interiorshop.dk was launched in October 2015, bringing Interiør A/S into the digital age.

Today, the webshop is one of Denmark’s largest in the furniture industry and has been expanded with a Norwegian and Swedish webshop.

Interior A/S is located at Hoejmarksvej 34 in the small town of Kragelund. It’s not on a main street, but if you're looking for quality design furniture and home accessories, the location is ideal. It’s close to the E45 motorway—and there’s almost always parking available.

Directions

Follow motorway E45 and take Exit 58. Drive approximately 1.4 km toward Øster Snede. Turn right onto Hoejmarksvej and drive about 600 meters.
