Description
The cushion from Poulin Design is woven at the Belgian weaving mill, Metrax-Craye, which produces a wide range of jacquard woven cushions. The cushion cover is made of 95% cotton and 5% polyester and is available here in the dimensions 48 x 48 cm. The cushion with Vincent van Gogh's artwork Branches with Almond Flowers, comes with a delicious Danish-made mounting cushion with natural filling.

Vincent van Gogh arrived in Arles in March 1888 when the orchards were just beginning to blossom, which meant something very special to van Gogh. He enjoyed their aesthetic and found joy in painting the beautiful flowering trees, which for him represented awakening and hope. Almond Blossom was painted to celebrate the birth of his nephew and namesake, Vincent Willem van Gogh, son of his brother Theo and sister-in-law Jo, who were very close to him. The branches of the almond tree with its beautiful white blossoms stand against the blue sky, which was one of van Gogh's favorite subjects.
