Description
Poulin Design cushions with unique motifs woven using the jacquard method. This cushion is woven at one of Belgium's oldest weaving mills, located in the small town of Waarschoot in northern Belgium. The Metrax-Craye weaving mill produces reproductions of paintings from some of the world's most famous artists, including Claude Monet. The cushion comes with a stylish mounting cushion with natural filling to ensure a high level of comfort. The mounting cushion is of high quality and made in Denmark.

Claude Monet painted the motif of the colorful poppies from his home in Argenteuil, France, where he lived until 1878. Here he found the beautiful bright landscapes that inspired him to explore the potential of painting outdoors. The famous painting Poppies brings to mind the lively atmosphere that can be experienced on a stroll through the fields on a beautiful summer day. In the landscape, dominated by elegant red poppies, a young woman is seen with her child. The woman with the umbrella is probably Monet's wife, Camille, and their son Jean.
