Poul Henningsen designed the PH 5 in 1958 as a lamp that could be used with all light sources. With its iconic three-shade system, PH 5 provides a soft, comfortable, and completely glare-free light, perfect over the dining table. The original red and blue tones, which were intended to enhance the light's colour, have been removed in the modern versions as today's light sources render daylight much better. PH 5 and the smaller PH 5 Mini (Ø30 cm) fit beautifully into both classic and modern homes. Both lamps are produced by Louis Poulsen and continue Poul Henningsen's timeless design legacy.
