Laoru Laoru
Laoru Laoru is a Danish art and design duo based in Aarhus. Drawing inspiration from ancient architecture and sculptural traditions, they create ceramic sculptures, reliefs, and functional objects – all shaped and produced in their own studio.
The duo works with both serial production and one-of-a-kind pieces and is involved in every step from concept to finished work. The name comes from their shared surname and is inspired by the character “Hlao-roo” from Watership Down – a name meaning “little clay pot,” reflecting their passion for ceramic craftsmanship.
